Hotels for Hope Aligns with The Arc of Texas

September 30, 2013

AUSTIN, TEXAS – SEPTEMBER 30, 2013 – Hotels for Hope, the Austin, Texas-based hotel brokerage company, today announced its partnership with The Arc of Texas, the non-profit that creates opportunities for 1.2 million Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities – allowing individuals to actively participate in their communities and make choices that affect their lives in a positive manner.

The Arc of Texas joins Hotels for Hope’s current list of charitable partner organizations that focus on education. Through the partnership, The Arc of Texas will benefit from Hotels for Hope’s model for giving which contributes $2 for every room night stay to charitable partner organizations that seek to help children live happier and healthier lives.

“We are thrilled to contribute to The Arc of Texas,” Hotels for Hope founder, Neil Goldman said. “Our staff, hotel partners and clients believe that children with disabilities, or developmental delays, should have the same opportunities as other children.  This partnership with The Arc of Texas will provide direct donations to help with advocacy and programming – ensuring appropriate services and support are available for youth to learn skills and strategies to promote optimum childhood outcomes.”

Hotels for Hope will also manage, and broker, The Arc of Texas’ annual meeting schedule.  This allows attendees at The Arc of Texas’ meetings an engine to generate funds for their organization.  Hotels for Hope will donate $2 for every room night stay to The Arc of Texas.

“Hotels for Hope truly believes in and supports the mission of The Arc of Texas,” said Amy Mizcles, Executive Director.  “The Arc of Texas appreciates Hotels for Hope’s wholehearted desire to improve the lives of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and we are honored to launch a partnership with such a fine organization.”

To date, Hotels for Hope has donated more than $200k to its charitable partners. For more information or to book rooms, visit www.hotelsforhope.org.
