Many Thanks: Hotels for Hope Recognized by the Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary Club

July 11, 2017

h4h-rotary-award-roomfundingAt H4H, we like to think of our giving partners as friends. And that means we like to get involved with them as much as we can. One of those friends is the Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary Club, a membership club part of Rotary International and a group we can stand behind.

ACRC and H4H have worked together for a few years now, so we’ve got some good stories to tell. Like how two successful RoomFunding™ projects have sent $12,000 in donations to the End Polio Now program, where just 60 cents can vaccinate a child … for a lifetime. In RoomFunding terms, that means each room night booked through H4H can vaccinate three kids. So just how many kids’ vaccinations is that? The answer: 20,000. That’s a huge impact.

Not long ago, H4H was awarded ACRC’s 2016-2017 Community Builder Award for “outstanding contribution and commitment to changing lives” in the community we serve. One of our own Crew members, Kerri Morgan, was also awarded for her awesome work with ACRC. We couldn’t be more grateful for this recognition, and we’re proud to have ACRC and End Polio Now as our partners.

WANT TO HELP US FUND THEIR NEXT PROJECT?

For every actualized room night, Hotels for Hope donates $2 to the Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary Club’s RoomFunding project at no cost to you. They need your help to reach their goal of 5,000 room nights. So how can you get involved? There are two simple ways to do this…

  1. Book room nights from your next business trip or a personal stay. Every room night matters and gets them closer to reaching their goal.
  2. Commit your next meeting or event. If your company hosts meetings or conferences, you could support Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary Club with the rooms you’re going to book anyway! Whether you are organizing a conference, meeting, board retreat, sporting event, festival or large consumer event…we’ve got you covered. Our services and technology will make planning these events much easier for your group.
