Thousands of Polio vaccines funded through hotel stays

December 16, 2016

The Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary Club has reached the room night goal for their third RoomFunding™ project! That means they are one step closer to eradicating Polio.

ACRC is part of a worldwide community of more than 34,000 Rotary International clubs volunteering in communities at home and abroad to support education and job training, provide clean water, combat hunger, improve health and sanitation and eradicate Polio. Their RoomFunding project will go towards Rotary International’s End Polio Now program that vaccinates children in high risk areas of the world for a lifetime. Each room night booked through Hotels for Hope can vaccinate 3 children for a lifetime!

Hotels for Hope and Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary Club send a big “thank you” to the groups that selected this project…especially Inc. Magazine. And also to the hotels that hosted these groups. You made this possible.

Want to help us fund their next project?

For every room night that actualizes, Hotels for Hope donates $2 to Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary Club’s RoomFunding project…at no cost to you. But they need your help to reach their goal of 5,000 room nights. How do you do that? There are two simple ways to do this…

  1. Book room nights from your next business trip or a personal stay. Every room night matters and gets them closer to reaching their goal.
  2. Commit your next meeting or event. If your company hosts meetings or conferences, you could support Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary Club in a bigger way. Whether you are organizing a conference, meeting, board retreat, sporting event, festival or large consumer event…we’ve got your back. Our services and technology will make planning these events much easier.
