Hotels for Hope is excited to once again be assisting concertgoers with their lodging needs for Farm Aid 2016, taking place on September 17th at Jiffy Lube Live. Every room night booked through FarmAid.org will generate a $2 contribution for the HOMEGROWN Youthmarket, which empowers young people with skills, employment revenue, and connection to local farmers and the food they grow.
About Farm Aid: Farm Aid’s annual concert is an all-day music and food festival, featuring a unique lineup of artists and genres and family farm-identified, local and organic foods with its own HOMEGROWN Concessions®. In Farm Aid’s HOMEGROWN Village, attendees will have the chance to meet farmers, engage in hands-on food and farm activities, and learn about the ways family farmers are enriching our soil, protecting our water and growing our economy, in addition to bringing us good food for good health. The annual Farm Aid concert celebrates farmers, eaters and music coming together for change. Proceeds from the concert support the year-round work of Farm Aid to help farmers thrive, expand the reach of the Good Food Movement, take action to change the dominant system of industrial agriculture, and promote food from family farms.
Lineup includes WILLIE NELSON, NEIL YOUNG, JOHN MELLENCAMP, DAVE MATTHEWS & TIM REYNOLDS, ALABAMA SHAKES, STURGILL SIMPSON, NATHANIEL RATELIFF & THE NIGHT SWEATS, JAMEY JOHNSON, MARGO PRICE, LUKAS NELSON & PROMISE OF THE REAL, INSECTS VS ROBOTS and IAN MELLENCAMP. You can purchase tickets HERE.
