Still need your Shaky Knees Hotel? We’ve got you covered…

May 03, 2017

You’ve got 9 days, and inventory this late in the game can change quickly… With that being said, I’ll keep this short and sweet: We’ve piled together a list of properties within walking distance from Centennial Olympic Park, at the lowest discounted rates.

As our “Host Partner Hotel” for both Shaky Festivals, the Omni sits closest to the Festival right across the street from Centennial Olympic Park (check out that view…).

If you like full-service hotels at ridiculously low rates, consider booking here with prices currently at $135 per night.

Another property extremely close to Centennial Olympic Park (1/3 of a mile)! We have some great insight about this property from our Shaky Beats article last week you can read here. Additionally, save the stress and money in finding a dog-sitter before you make the trip to Atlanta – Aloft is pet friendly! Rates begin at $128, so check out why a ton of patrons have already secured a room at this hotel.

This full-service, atrium-style property is located just over a half mile from the park. As one of Marriott’s modern-style properties, patrons will appreciate the vibe at the Marquis – Especially when rates begin at only $128…

As we continue hopping between hotel brands, we’ve now reached another full service, atrium-style property: Hilton Atlanta (Downtown). One of the sweetest features of this property is something all patrons can appreciate: A Drug Store onsite. Whether its Advil to nurse those shaky knees from a day full of dancing, replenishing your stock of hair gel, or any other items you left at home, the Hilton Atlanta has you covered.

Not only do rates start at $99, but the service you get according to TripAdvisor is unparalleled.

Making the second Starwood Hotel on our list, a stay at W Atlanta Downtown places you in the heart of Atlanta and walking distance from the festival. As one of the fastest-growing popular brands in the world, this lush hideaway in ATL has it all: Style, Service, Swag… If you’ve stayed at one of these properties before you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Rates start a bit higher (around $170), but worth every penny, then some.

What to do in Atlanta

If you somehow find yourself with extra time outside of festival grounds (or make it into Atlanta a day or two early), here are a few recommendations we also shared with your buddies attending Shaky Beats this weekend:

Explore life in the ocean at Georgia Aquarium. Can’t promise there’ll be a marine life big escape like in Finding Dory, but you’re still in for a fun time. You might even find Dory for yourself.

Get the perfect photo op at Atlanta Botanical Gardens. We know you’ve already packed some cute outfits for the festival so why not stop by the Botanical Gardens to get your artsy pictures in. Insta fame waits for no one. Not to mention that it’ll probably be one of the few times you’ll enjoy peace and tranquility.

Step into the World of Coca Cola. A great way to spend your spare time is right here exploring what makes Coca Cola one of America’s favorite drinks. Delve into the history of this famous beverage and experience a trip around the world through the 4D movie theater before indulging your taste buds to sampling 100 different beverages.
